JB`s Island Cafe in Clearwater

I don't even know where to begin! From the music, to the food, amazing all the way around. Abby was sweet, attentive, and proud of this adorable cafe. Ryan came out and spoke to everyone personally. I can't stop raving. My boyfriend had the 'belt breaker breakfast' everything was cooked perfectly, the French toast was delicious, and the home fries are well seasoned. I had the Buffalo Chicken wrap and it was the best one I've had in my life. So simple yet so delicious. Ryan has really created a wonderful local place to get really good food for a really great price. Just wonderful.

The best breakfast and lunch place not only in the Clearwater Beach area but one of the best I have visited ever! The place was immaculately clean, and the food was incredibly fresh and tasty, and Abby, Lindsay, Andy and the rest of the staff was terrific, what a great group of folks. My wife and I loved you guys, and that's why we had breakfast with you all three days we stayed in the area! Ryan well-done, sir, I wish you many more years of continued success and feeding great food in a great atmosphere to many to come. Thank you!

Very very awesome guy an his staff is very good an nice. If you don't eat here at least 3 times in 5 days your wrong. This is the most food you get for your $ in clear water. Everything on the menu is great so far. The breakfast is to die for.

What a hidden gem this cafe is! Went looking for breakfast early afternoon and we found this place was still serving. The food was phenomenal and costumer service was great. A very homely atmosphere. Price is good and portions are big as well. Definitely will visit again!

Delicious food, fabulous service, Andy was a great server! 10/10 will definitely return! Also, they have an egret named Walter White that hangs out outside. You don’t want to miss this!

The eggs Benedict was delicious and tomatoes were so fresh you can tell that ingredients are high-quality The blueberry pancakes are some of the best i’ve ever had our server Andy was very friendly knowledgeable and attentive we will most definitely be back and last but not least the coffee was great

Best onion rings we ever had!!! the food was extremely fresh and tasted great. Small place, but def worth checking out. Ryan the owner - is awesome, and Abby the waitress provided great service.

Wish we had found this place earlier in our stay, amazing breakfast. I had the eggs Benedict and it was the best I've ever had. My wife had their California Benedict and I tried a bite...yum. everything tasted fresh. They were very busy when we were there but our waiter still have us great service, kept our drinks full and he really had our daughters laughing. We'll definitely be back next time we stay on the beach

This place is full of southern hospitality in the middle of a beach paradise! Our server Andy was phenomenal, everyone came to greet us and ask how we were, even asking what brought us here and if we were local.. above and beyond to ensure my food allergies were paid attention to.. A full stomach is hard for me to achieve when I’m not cooking it myself, but I left here wobbling. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I came in with my family of 5 and Andy was our server. Everything from the service to the food was outstanding. Andy was patient and humorous, the food was fresh and hot, and the atmosphere was fun and colorful. Do yourself a favor and order the pancakes even if you don’t like sweets for breakfast like me you’ll still keep coming back for more. Very friendly staff and clean restaurant by far our favorite spot to dine on the beach throughout our whole trip! Thank you to Andy and Ryan’s cafe staff we’ll definitely be back and recommend this place to our friends!

The belt buster breakfast was amazing! The service is excellent and the environment is upbeat and light. Whatever ingredients they use with the French toast and syrup is to die for!

The staff was very friendly as soon as you walked in, the server was quick and gave recommendations on the food as well as got our food to us quickly. Decently priced and a cute little restaurant! Would come again

This definitely is the best breakfast spot in Clearwater Beach as claimed. I had their vegetarian hash browns which was absolutely delicious. The staff is very professional yet friendly and warm. Food was served surprisingly quick and there is nearby parking for those of you in a car. It's also slightly tucked away from the main road making it a bit quieter than the other options. This spot will not disappoint!

First time visiting Ryan’s Island Cafe and we were very happy with our visit! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Andy was a very kind and prompt waiter!

We are from Alabama visiting and we came yesterday (our last day) as they were closing. We were greeted by Ryan walking out and was BEYOND nice and told us to come back. We were supposed to leave today but decided to stay one extra day just to try Ryan’s Island. BEST BREAKFAST EVER!!! Abby was the best waitress ever and was so sweet and friendly. This guy knows how to run a small business. He came out and greeted each table and made connections with everyone. After a huge rush of people left, Ryan high fived his whole staff telling them how awesome they were doing. Great guy, great staff, WONDERFUL food. We will be back!!

Delicious Eggs Benedict! Each staff member goes the extra mile to ensure your satisfaction with your meal. Everyone was extremely friendly and you can tell they work well as a team. Got to sit at the bar and see the food being prepared, everything is fresh and made with great pride. Really glad we found this place!

Ryan’s Island Cafe is my favorite place to go for breakfast and lunch. Western Omelette and shredded hash browns were delicious along with the chocolate chip pancakes 🥞 Tried the buffalo chicken wrap with fries, chicken quesadillas and mozzarella sticks.. all excellent!! All the staff is very friendly and The owner Ryan himself came out to see how everything was. I even watched the bus person clearing the tables and sanitizing the chairs, tables and condiments down. Definitely a great place to visit while in Clearwater Beach!!! Check them out!!! 🤗

This place is a hidden little gem! Like a greasy spoon diner, MINUS the grease! Super affordable and the food was delicious. The croissant breakfast sandwich was delicious! I will definitely be craving it! Abby was a fantastic server, very friendly and attentive. Great little breakfast spot.

Ok, so if you're looking for a breakfast joint, this is definitely the place. We went on Father's day around 10:30, it was really busy every where but we got there and were seated immediately. The home fries and hash browns are delicious! Their menu has many great options and the staff are super nice. Great place to eat.

This place is top notch as far as breakfast goes, didn't try lunch though. Had the eggs Benedict which was out of this world. The pancakes were some of the best I've had, not your typical dry diner pancakes. Forget the servers name but he was very nice, and on top of everything. Can't go wrong here for some breakfast

This place is a great lunch/brunch spot! Tucked away right off the strip, this cozy diner is friendly with terrific food in a comfortable laid back setting! Highly recommended 👍🏽

This place was so good we went back two days in a row! The boss stack pancakes were quite honestly the best pancakes I’ve ever had. Between my boyfriend and I; we had the blueberry, chocolate chip, and banana (fav). The breakfast burrito was also clutch! Service is excellent and very friendly. I can’t imagine anything would be bad on this menu.

Visited Ryan’s Island Cafe, and I must say I was extremely pleased with the service and food! Abby was a great server very fast and friendly. French toast was delicious! The manager greeted us and topped off our mimosas!! I give this place 5 stars!!

Team did an excellent job accommodating the brunch rush on a Tuesday morning! Kudos to the staff for encouraging one another. We watched the chaos from the bar where we enjoyed a most delicious breakfast at our leisure. This teamwork is to be admired in any business! Thank you! Wish we had dined here earlier in our stay!

I now have a favorite restaurant on Clearwater Beach & that's Ryan's Island Cafe! The food is absolutely delicious & the staff is very friendly & attentive. My wife & I really enjoyed our lunch date for Mother's Day.

We took a weekend trip to get back to normalcy and stumbled across this great restaurant. Not only was the breakfast delicious but the customer service was excellent. Abby was our waitress she was very attentive. The rest of the staff checked on us even though we were not seated at their assign area. I left with tummy full and a big smile on my face. I will definitely return and support this business again! Highly recommended! Thank you Ryan’s Island Cafe keep up the hard work!

This is the best breakfast in Clearwater Beach! You will not be disappointed! My favorite is the breakfast quesadilla. I have been here many times in the past two years and always leave happy and full!

I eat at this restaurant probably 2-3 times a week. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is great. The food is 5 star and a great price. Met the owner Ryan several times and he is a great guy. Would recommend this place to everyone visiting Clearwater beach

Not only is this the best breakfast we've had in Clearwater.. it just may be the best we've have in a long time. Do yourself a favor and drop in.. oh, and while you're there ask for Ryan to belt out his favorite Debarge songs. Someone send a video to Ryan Seacrest, this guy has untapped talent not seen since Star Search 🎶

All the staff were friendly and helpful. The serving sizes were good for the pricing. Ate there for breakfast and will be back another day to check out their lunch /dinner items. The owner (I assume) came out and checked on all the guests to ensure they were happy and enjoyed their food. Highly recommend if you're visiting the area.

My daughter was here a few weeks ago she told me to go there if I was ever in the area. We live in Orlando so Clearwater is our small getaway this will be my go-to breakfast spot every time I go to the beach now. This place was great. My granddaughter and I walked over from our hotel and right as we got in it down poured for about an hour we had such a peaceful breakfast I drink my coffee and had our breakfast. She and I sat still and watch the down pour out the window. Food was amazing atmosphere was amazing staff was amazing!

Cold brew coffee was solid. Pancakes are a must get. The menu has great variety with lots of things that look so good... I went with the breakfast burrito and was not disappointed. Also, the staff was so friendly! Can’t go wrong with Ryan’s for breakfast to say the least.

My fiancé and I visited this place on our trip for my birthday. Immediately we felt at home. Both of us being servers we know how a restaurant should be ran and let me tell you this is the place! Ryan himself came to the table and checked on us to make sure we were okay and had a great meal. The food was incredible. Service was impeccable as well. We are still sitting here enjoying our bottomless mimosas as I write this review. If you’re looking for a laid back place with good food and a warm welcome environment this is the place. We Will for sure be back. This is definitely our “spot” when we come to Clearwater beach. Thanks Ryan, Abby and other employees for making this an enjoyable and unforgettable meal!

Best breakfast I’ve had in an extremely long time! I ordered the Belt Breaker Breakfast & it was phenomenal! Their homemade fries were perfectly crispy & the pancakes were wonderful. Super nice & friendly staff, as well! We will definitely be back!!!

Fabulous food, laid back atmosphere! Everything we got was so delicious and there was something for everyone in our family of four. Our littles are 4 & 5 years old and very picky eaters. They ate everything on their plates and so did we! Delicious...affordable....great music playing! What more could you want?

Ryan's Island Cafe has been our favorite restaraunt since it opened. The owner Ryan is a respectable young man, who is very dedicated, and takes great pride in his work. His staff is very welcoming, kind,h and accommodating as well. Andy was our server today, but all of Ryan's staff are wonderful. The food is delicious and portion sizes are generous. If you're down at Clearwater Beach, and are hungry, make sure you try Ryan's Island Cafe. You won't be disappointed, or leave hungry!!!

Ryan's has amazing food! I can personally vouch for the pancakes (with strawberries), breakfast burrito, and parfiet.The service was excellent and we never had to ask the waitress for drink refills and everyone was very friendly.Dogs are allowed on the patio as well. I highly recommend trying this restaurant!

Food is fenomenal! Nice, cozy, and simple place with real beach vibes! Our server, Andy, was extremely nice and polite. He knows how to start a conversation and make the client feel comfortable. Pancakes were especially good and soft!!

Food was delightful, beer was delicious. Candy was an awesome hostess and she ended up delivering an exceptional experience despite having a full restaurant. Ryan, the chef and owner, came out to greet us, gave us very cool stories about his favorite dish — Ryan’s burger? (Don’t quote me) — and those of some other menu items. All around great staff and great experience, I’ll definitely come back!
